Overcoming Fear

Q:  I have spent many years of my life fearing or trying to overcome fear of various eventualities. What can I do to overcome my fears?

A:To overcome any fear, one must activate his dvekut, clinging to G-d, Who is the essence of eternal life. It is also helpful to always remember what the Ba'al Shem Tov's father told him before he died, to fear nothing but G-d. Also remind yourself constantly, until it becomes second nature, that G-d is everywhere! He is in every place of the world around, as well as in every place of the world within, one's psyche.
