A: "Ratzo" is the "running" of the soul toward the true nothingness. "Shov" is the return of the soul to the true "something," which is reflected in all of creation. "Shov" is the descent to everyday life, particularly to realize the purpose inherent in the nothingness by the fulfillment of the commandments of the Torah.
