Being Nothing and Something

When Rabbi Shneur Zalman wrote his classic, the Tanya, he experienced every word that he wrote. When he wrote "nothing" he was nothing.

How can you be nothing and write the word "nothing" at the same time? Only if together with being nothing you are also something.

But how can you be nothing and something at the same time? He knew how. I don't know how, if you have a clue let me know.
