The Seven Dynamics of Divine Forgiveness  (94.50)
God is a forgiver in essence. The more that we can emulate His forgiveness in our lives, the more we will be deserving of Divine forgiveness. What are the dynamics of this Divine forgiveness, and why does it awaken awe in our souls? In this audio lecture given on the eve of Selichot 5764, Rabbi Ginsburgh delves into the depths of the process of forgiveness. When we apply our understanding of Divine forgiveness to our relationship with God and to forgiving others, we open ourselves to love-filled awe of God and to healthy and creative relationships with our loved ones.

The potential of every Jew is to express Divinity. The Hebrew word for Egypt, Mitzrayim,  means "constraints." Constraints are the inability to fully express oneself. Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai: The Happy Rebbe

Time to Create and the Creation of Time

The first verse of the Bible contains four nouns: “the beginning,” “Elokim,” “the heavens,” and “the earth.” The Chassidic masters gave different interpretations of the role that “the beginning,” i.e., time played in creation. Coupled into the discussion on the nature of time and its role is a beautiful correspondence of these four primary nouns with the four types of ego-nullification discussed in Chassidut, the highest of which gives a person the ability to see the world from G-d’s perspective. Click here to listen.

Why A Sukah Cannot be Taller Than 20 Cubits

The Talmud cites three differing opinions on the reason that a sukah cannot be taller than 20 cubits. These three reasons are explained to correspond to the three of the Four Species that are bound together (lulav, hadad, and aravah). Deeper analysis of the Talmud passage reveals an implicit fourth reason, which corresponds to the etrog. Click here to listen.
