One should try to fulfill the verse, Tamim tihyeh im Hashem Elokecha, (Deut. 18:13) which means, "Walk simply with G-d." It is advisable to learn Rashi's commentary on this verse. He explains that one should not investigate or speculate about the future. One should just be simple with G-d. This is the most all inclusive commandment of the Torah. Once a prospective mate is found in accordance with the natural ways in which G-d created the world, Kabbalah can help to understand the meanings of the names of the bride and groom, and other facets of the significance of their union.
