Q: I am dating a very nice man with fine character traits. We have mutual goals and aspirations. But I just don’t feel that “spark” of attraction. Should I continue to date him? Can I marry him under these circumstances?
A: Although many couples do feel that special "spark," this is not a prerequisite for a solid and loving relationship. Good marriages are based on constant and steady work on always deepening the relationship between the couple. This work goes on "until 120," long after that initial spark has become irrelevant.
