Q&A: What can I do to Bring Mashiach?

Q: I do not see myself standing on street corners giving out Shabbat candles or the like. What can I do to help bring the Mashiach?

A: The Lubavitcher Rebbe reiterated time and again that Mashiach is very close, and that it is upon each and every Jew to do his utmost, and even more than his utmost, to make Mashiach a reality. In practical terms, this includes spreading the light of Torah and Chassidut to the people in your surroundings, and they, in turn, will also help to spread this light in their surroundings. This is the way to rectify the world. As the Mashiach approaches, action becomes all the more urgent. Remember that spreading this light of Torah and the word of Mashiach must be done with joy in one's heart and kindness to your fellow man, and not in a threatening manner.
