Q&A: Jewish Holidays and Healing the Soul

Q: I was wondering if every Jewish holiday comes to fix a certain character trait…

A: Each holiday envelopes within it a particular ability to heal the soul. Pesach represents the ability in the soul to rectify improper desire for money. Shavuot represents the ability in the soul to rectify improper sexual desire. Sukkot represents the ability in the soul to rectify the desire for overeating, or eating improper foods.
