Q: I am feeling a bit down this Elul. I don’t have the energy to learn Torah and I am involving myself in work and projects. How can I connect more to God during this important month?
A: Now is the time to meet the King in the field. (God, the King, is more easily accessible in the month of Elul). The Lubavitcher Rebbe says that every time that we make a blessing, saying “Blessed are You, God” – we meet the King. Try to have this intention when you are making blessings.
