Q&A: Can I Use the Chedvah Breathing with Corona?

Q: I live in France and to my sorrow, I have the coronavirus. I have been practicing Rabbi Ginsburgh’s breathing meditation, “Chedvah” for a long time. I would like to know if it is relevant and helpful for this virus, which, as we know, attacks the respiratory system. My question is if I can change the rate of breathing to adapt it to my current condition?

I will also be happy for the Rabbi’s blessing and other advice.

A: May you have a complete recovery among all the ill of Israel and the entire world! The Chedvah breathing is very good for now. You can practice it according to the pace that is comfortable for you, as long as you keep the proportion of Chedvah: 8-4-6-5. “God’s keen joy (chedvah) is your fortress!”  Click here for a more detailed explanation.

You can also read the advice that we publicized last week. May we hear good news from you!
